Investigation On Introduction Of Fifteen Species Of Lily In North Henan Province

This thesis is aiming to study and record fifteen cultivars of Lily.In this study,survival rate,phenological period,plant height,stem thick,flower characters and the post-harvest production and reproductive characteristics were tested by introduction experiment.In the meantime,a regional experiment of eight Lily varieties was carried out,including the investigation of the growth,flowering characters and the breeding of the seeds,which not only aims to select several superior specimen for north Henan but also provides appropriate breed combinations for some regions.The results can be concluded as follows:1.The introduction experiment shows that:(1)The species that are suitable for growing in north Henan province are Lanzhou,Siberia and Sorbonne.Based on the climate and soil conditions of north Henan,three varieties can normally sprout,grow,bloom and bear fruits.(2)The survival rate of Lanzhou Lily variety is 97.5% and its blossom can sustain for 26 days.The numbers of flowers are 4 to 9.The postharvest bulb weight is 2.83 g which is larger than the original one.Also,compared to the original one,the bulb propagation coefficient is higher and the ability to resist pests is stronger.(3)The survival rate is 98.5% of Sorbonne Lily variety,the florescence is 23 days,numbers of flowers is 4 to 8.The postharvest bulb weight is 3.16 g,which is larger than the original bulb.Also,compared to the original one,the higher bulb propagation coefficient and the stronger ability to resist pests is the same as the former breed.(4)The survival rate is 97.5% of the Siberian Lily variety and its florescence is 25 days.The numbers of flowers are 2 to 6 and bulb weight is 4.90 g larger than the original bulb with higher bulb propagation coefficient and stronger ability to resist pests.The three varieties are superior to other introduction breeds on economic benefits,propagation coefficient and disease resistance.2.The regional experiment shows that:(1)Species of Lanzhou,Sorbonne,Siberia and Conca D`or grow better in Xunxian(a county in Henan Province).The varieties with better flowering characters are Corvara,Tiber and Conca D`or.The breeds of Lanzhou,Sorbonne and Siberia species have a stronger fertility.(2)The species growing better in Qixian(a county in Henan Province)are Red Twin and Tiber.The Corvara,Tiber and Conca D`or has a higher comprehensive score in flowering traits.The species with better breeding ability are Red Twin and Tiber.(3)The species with better growing condition in Linzhou(a county in Henan Province)are Kiev and Corvara.The breeds with higher comprehensive score of flowering traits are Corvara,Tiber and Conca D`or.The species with better breeding capacity are Red Twin and Tiber.It can be concluded that the planting situation was the best in Xunxian,Qixian is followed by and the last is Linzhou.
