Resent years,due to the massive population and the decreasing of cultivated land,frequent natural disasters and environment pollution,the requires that the quantity and high quality of food hardly meet the needs by relying on farmland.In this context,there were important approaches to settle this contradiction by adopts the plant factory which made use of cultivating method of multi-layer,mass production of high quality products as well as the mode of non-pollution production.The paper mainly introduces a method of control the environment of the plant factory crop growth,based on the embedded system and wireless communication technology as well as the automation,real-time monitor of the temperature and humidity,the concentration of carbon dioxide as well as the situation of electric relay.Then a monitor system that a suitable environment for the botanical growth in the plant factory had been set up.Firstly,this paper indicted the present development situation of the plant factory and then analyzed the demand of plant intelligent monitoring system,designed the overall structure of the system.Then,according to the overall structure and the function requirements of the system,the hardware and software of the system were designed in detail.Finally,an experimental test platform which made by water culture plants was built up to validate the intelligent monitoring system.The hardware core of this new structure system is carried out by the host controller(Raspberry Pi 3 Model B)and the terminal controller(Arduino Mega 2560).It combined with an acquisition terminal by constituting AM2320 temperature and humidity sensor,Hstl-GZD light sensor as well as MG811 carbon dioxide sensor.At the same time,it designed electric change-over circuit,RS485-to-UART,serial ports,level conversion and interface circuit.The system of Arduino Mega 2560 according to compare with the sensor acquisition data and the set values,by controlling the output PWM to achieve the LED light bar control,by controlling the GPIO port output high and low control relay pull-off and shut down to achieve fan,pump,humidifier,heaters and the like.The system software design includes: PC host monitoring interface design,database design,PC host and embedded main controller Socket programming,embedded main controller and terminal controller serial communication program,environment factor acquisition program and the implementation of components of the control program,and so on.Finally,an experimental test platform which made by water culture plants was built up to validate the intelligent monitoring system.The practical testing results showed that the system had the features---extensibility,reliability and stability that met the request of design.
