The Study Of Astragalus Polysaccharides On Improving The Sub-health And Production Performance Of Pregnant Sows

The sub-health situation of sow mainly shows a decreased production performance,an increased susceptibility to disease,and the specific ability to respond to specific immune response.The reproductive performance is low,which poses a threat to the growth and development of newborn piglets.Astragalus polysaccharide is a green and safe food additive with the effects of anti-virus,anti-oxidation property,and it can enhance immunity,promote animal growth and so on.In this study,we added the astragalus polysaccharides into the daily diet to observe the whole state of the pregnant sows,and measure the blood and urine indexes,the performance of the sows,the growth performance of the piglets and the postnatal status of the sows.The results showed that:(1)Astragalus polysaccharides can improve the gestation of the pregnant sows,making it neat and bright with a smooth and shiny skin;reduce the incidence of pregnant sows;improve the state of pregnant sows by reducing or avoiding the tear formation;Also,it significantly improved the urine color of pregnant sows.(2)Astragalus polysaccharides have a good protective and regulatory effect on the liver,kidney and heart of pregnant sows,and it can also enhance the immune function of pregnant sows,furthermore,improving the sub-health status of pregnant sows.(3)The addition of Astragalus polysaccharides increases the litter size of the pregnant sows,reducing the number of stillbirths and weak infants and increasing the performance of pregnant sows.The equal weight and weaning weight of piglets both have an increasing trend.The diarrhea rate is reduced,while the survival rate and disease resistance are enhanced.(4)Astragalus polysaccharides can improve the postpartum stool status of pregnant sows and significantly shorten the postpartum estrus interval.Meanwhile,the sow postpartum milk and appetite recovery situation have been improved,ultimately improving the gestational postnatal sub-health status.(5)The addition of different doses of Astragalus polysaccharides both can improve the sub-health status of pregnant sows.Considering the excellent effect of Astragalus ? on improving the status of the pregnant sows,fecal characters,urine traits and reproductive performance and so on,Astragalus ?group(400 g/t)is chosen as the optimal dosage level.
