Histopathological Diagnosis And Epidemiological Analysis Of Canine Skin Tumors In Zhengzhou

Almost 1/3 canine tumor cases were skin tumor,which is the most frequently happened tumor diseases,put a negative influence on the canine breeding development and welfare.The number of canine in rural and city keep increasing accordance with the development of economics,and the diseases of aging of pet were taken more and more attention.Canine tumor is one of these diseases which is increasingly obviously but without enough attention.From March 2015-Dec 2016,196 samples which suspected with skin tumor were collected from pet hospital in Zhengzhou in the present study.The information of diseased dogs like sexual,age,tumor location was reorganized,and tumor tissues were tested with histologic diagnosis.ICH and IFA.The ratio of female and male cases are 120: 76,which indicated tumor happened more frequency to female dog.It could be detected in 1-year old dog,although with lower positive rate.The mainly age with high detection rate ranged 7-9years,followed by over 10 years and 4-6 years.High detection rate were found in Poodle and Golden Retriever,followed by England shepherd,Japanese Spitz,Alaskan Malamute and Chow Chow.According to the calculation of tumor type,the most frequently skin tumor were Fibrosarcoma and Squamous cell carcinoma,followed by Fibroma,Basal cell carcinoma ? Sebaceous gland tumor,Trocho blastoma and pilomatricoma were nearly ? We also found that keratoacanthoma and Squamous cell carcinoma happened more frequently to Poodle,Basal cell carcinoma and Fibroma to Golden Retriever,Lymphatic sarcoma to American Cocker Spaniel,Fibrosarcoma and pilomatricoma to England shepherd,Fibrosarcoma to Mix breed?Analysis of location were also done,forelegs take a high percentage of skin tumor,following with face,back,hind quarter,head,chest and crissum.Squamous cell carcinoma and Trocho blastoma took a high incidence in face,Fibrosarcoma in forelegs and abdomen,Squamous cell carcinoma,HE 100× in forelegs.The tumor type correlated with age were as follows: Basal cell carcinoma between 1-3 years old,Squamous cell carcinoma between 4-6,steatadenoma between 7-9 years old as well as Basal cell carcinoma,keratoacanthoma,Fibrosarcoma,Lymphatic sarcoma and Trocho blastoma,and Squamous cell carcinoma and Fibroma more happened in dogs over 10 years old.In this study,we hope to providetheoretical basis and technical reference for the future study of canine skin tumors?...
