China is the place where sericulture originated and spread.Sericulture as an important part of our country's national economy has been widely used in many fields.To ensure heterosis of excellent breeds of silkworm and the quality of silk,silkworm cocoon need to be cut before hatching in the silkworm breeding by taking silkworm chrysalis out and separating from the same parents.The cutting methods of China's sericulture is still mainly based on manual operation.However,there are many disadvantages in the way: strong labor intensity,low production efficiency,phenomenon of workers cut themselves and so on.People desire an efficient mechanical cocoon cutting machine instead of manual operation to solve the problem.In view of the current problems of high labor intensity and low cutting efficiency,the following aspects are mainly studied:(1)The integral design plan of cocoon production cutting equipment has been put forward and the solid model has been built based on the cutting requirements of silkworm cocoon.The feasibility of scheme has been provided by actual effect.According to design concept of modularization,the equipment is divided into four modules: sticky separation,arrangement conveying,pressing,clamping and cutting.(2)Comparing and analyzing several separators,a design scheme of the sticky separator to meeting separation demand is carried out to solve the sticky problem.The structure design and dynamic selection of the sticky separator were carried out.Threedimensional model has been built and solid part has been made out.(3)The design of cocoon arrangement and conveying device is carried out according to the requirements of transportation production cut cocoon with comparing several different transportation plans.The structure design and dynamic selection were carried out.Three-dimensional model has been built and solid part has been made out.(4)The design of pressing device is carried out according to the physical characteristics of cocoon.The structure design of the clamping device is completed.The 3D model is established and the solid parts are made.(5)Comparing with different cutting methods,a cutting clamping scheme to meet the different cutting requirement under varieties and size is put forward.The structure design of the clamping cutting system is completed.The 3D model is established and the solid parts are made.(6)The modal analysis of the machine is carried out and the natural frequency of the machine is determined by analyzing the data,it ensure the resonance possibility of whole machine.(7)A prototype is built according to the working principle of each functional part.The practical control system scheme is put forward,at same time,the hardware selection and software design of the components' the control system are carried out.The development of the control system and the equipment debugging are completed based on machine structure.(8)The experiment scheme of cutting effect verification for the whole machine is designed.The improvement suggestion is carried out after processing the experimental data and analyzing the problems existing in the design of machine.
