The widely-distributed and low-altitude mountain meadow in Wugong Mountain of Jiangxi province along the Eastern China is an important indicative vegetation type for climate change.Due to the increased demand of timber,Cryptomeria japonica was planted in meadow ecotone with its cold resistance by Pingxiang bureau.As a change of land use pattern,the environment and the soil carbon(C),nitrogen(N),phosphorus(P)are significantly affected by the change of land use.Based on the soil of meadow and Cryptomeria japonica forest,the research object analysis the difference in soil C,N and P characteristics between meadow and Cryptomeria japonica forest,to investigate the effects and mechanism of afforestation on meadow,and so as to provide a theoretical basis for the restoration of fragile ecostystem in Wugong MountainThe results show that:(1)It is found that separation degree of meadow and Crytomeria japonica forest is high,through the canonical discriminate function analysis of the separation degree between meadow and Crytomeria japonica forest under multiple space.(2)Soil TOC,MBC,MBP,DOC,NO3--N,NH4+-N,AN and DTN of Crytomeria japonica forest were higher than meadow.Soil pH,TN,TP,MBN content were lower than meadow.Comprising the soil C: N: P stoichiometry of meadow and Crytomeria japonica forest,found that there were no significant difference on soil C: N ratio and soil microbial biomass C: N: P ratio,but Crytomeria japonica forest soil C/P,N/P increased.(3)TOC was significantly and positively correlated with TN and MBN.MBC was significantly and positively correlated with MBN and MBP.The correlation coefficients on DOC were significant or extremely significant with NH4+-N,NO3--N,AN and DON.NH4+-N and NO3--N were positively correlated with AN and DTN.In conclusion,the degree of separation is high between meadow and Crytomeria japonica forest in Wugong mountain.In addition,Crytomeria japonica plantation changed the soil C,N,P distribution and content composition.
