In order to effectively use natural resources and continuously improve soil environment,straw burying is becoming an effective solution to apply in production of crops in various places.This paper investigates the effect of straw burying on soil temperature via greenhouse and field experiments,using irrigation in greenhouse and film cover treatment in field as influence conditions.By using the interpolation image processing in Surfer,this paper analyzes the impact of straw burying on the influence degree of soil temperature,the specific location as well as the cumulative change law in different time periods under different treatment conditions.(1)Deeply buried staw can increase and redistribute soil temperature effectively in the greenhouse.Compared with those without deeply buried treatment,the average soil temperature was increased 1?during the irrigation period,and 0.43? during the non-irrigation period.During the whole process of irrigation,deeply buried straw can strongly affect the distribution of soil temperature,which is intense at early stage,and become gentle when water moisture content is stable.For soil which depth is less than 10cm,the maximum value of soil temperature elevated by irrigation was 5? and average value was 2?.Whether irrigation or not,the effect of deeply buried straw on soil below 50cm was small.(2)In different phase of maize growth,both deeply buried corn straw and film cover can strongly affect the increment of soil temperature.During the entire progress of growth,deeply buried straw contribute 0.4? to temperature increment and film cover contribute 0.55?.While the affection of film cover focused on the early stage,the influence of deeply buried straw is prominent at later period.The influence of deeply buried straw and film cover on location,degree as well as time period of soil temperature are different in diverse phrases of corn growth.Combined seedling stage,jointing stage,heading stage and maturity stage,under deeply buried straw and film cover condition,soil have the highest temperature especially at dusk,high temperature area concentrated on topsoil from 0cm to 10cm below the surface.For those with deeply buried straw treatment only,soil temperature is higher in the morning and middle of the day than the evening;the influenced soil is focused on the area from 0 cm to 40 cm under the ground.For those treated by film cover only,soil temperature can improve at all times,the scope of affected soil is 0 cm to 35 cm below the surface.(3)Straw layer itself don't served as a typical heat storage and discharge substance,has little heat radiation effect on surrounding temperature field.However,if treat the straw layer and surrounding soil as an ensemble,soil temperature did improve intensively.This increasement change the distribution of soil temperature to a great extent,especially embodies in the range of 0-20cm of topsoil.(4)Maize yield has strong positive correlation with the increase of soil temperature especially in the maturation stage,compared with no straw buried and no film cover treatment,straw buried and film cover treatment,no straw buried and film cover treatment,straw buried and no film cover treatment increased yield were 10.75%,4.63%,9.94%,the corresponding temperature increase 3.97%,2.30%,1.67%respectively.
