The unique geographical advantages of sandy soil is especially suitable for planting watermelon in Dongtai city,Jiangsu province,which makes watermelon become a local specialty.Because of the high cost of intelligent greenhouse,although the development of Intelligent greenhouses has made great progress in China,and also an intelligent greenhouses has been introduced in Dongtai these years,the majority of farmers still adopt the traditional method to plant.The traditional method is not only hard for farmers,but also the efficiency is so low.In order to improve production efficiency of local small household melon farmers,and reduce the burden of production,this paper designs a greenhouse monitoring system,it can monitor the internal environment of the greenhouse in real time,and designs the remote login function to realize the automatic management of greenhouse cultivation.In this paper,the situation of watermelon cultivation in Dongtai city,Jiangsu province was firstly analyzed,and the overall design was carried out according to the requirements of watermelon cultivation.Then the hardware design of the system was designed,the collection terminal and base station were designed respectively.After that,according to the circuit,the system software was implemented.In order to reduce the power consumption of the collected nodes,a set of star network considering the residual energy was designed.The acquisition node with the most remaining energy will be selected as the intermediate node,which is responsible for forwarding the receiving node and transmitting the data of the collecting node.Through the RS485 bus,receiving node passed the data to the host computer.Finally,the host computer was designed using LabVIEW,to achieve the real-time display of temperature humidity and the intensity of illuminance in greenhouse,and the system remote login requirements through the use of its WEB function.The results of the experiment shows that the monitoring system designed in this paper,which can monitor the environment effectively inside the greenhouse and improve the production efficiency.It can also reduce the labor costs and meet the design requirements.
