There is large area in Xin Jiang Uygur Autonomous Region, but the per capita arable land is lack.It is effected seriously on the production and health of livestock, including the shortage water, overgrazing, lack forage and poor quality. To improve forage yield and quality, the experiment was carried out under jujube intercropping forage in Akesu area including foxtail millet Henggu No.13(Setaria italica),forage soybean Fenlvfeidou No.2(Glycine max),sweet clover(Melilotus officinalis)and four alfalfas(Madicago sativa). It was determined including the seed of salt tolerance, forage production and nutrition, photosynthesis, effecting soil and jujube. The results were showed as follows:(1)The experiment of forage seed salt tolerance, with the increase of salt concentration, and the germination rate(GR)of HM1 and HM2 was increased firstly and then decreased gradually. The GR of HM1,HM2 and Fenlvfeidou No.2 were the highest at 0.3% the salt concentration. With the increase of salt concentration the GR of other five forages were decreased.Fenlvfeidou No.2 was strongest in salt tolerance,It was found HM2>HM1>HM3>HM4>Henggu No.13>sweet clover.(2)The forage production potential and nutrition were determined. The net photosynthetic rate was HM2>HM1>HM4>HM3.The hay yield of Henggu No.13 was 1020.51kg·667m-2 and Fenlvfeidou No.2 was 663.07 kg · 667m-2.The average hay yield of HM2,HM1,HM3,HM4 and sweet clover were 963.84 kg·667m-2,881.02 kg·667m-2,786.51 kg·667m-2,773.56 kg·667m-2,737.65kg·667m-2respectively.The crude protein content of legume was18.08%~12.47%,and grass was 7.25%.The relative feed value of legume was 155.30~142.95,and grass was 92.48.To evaluate comprehensive,It was found HM2>HM1>HM3>HM4>sweet clover>Henggu No.13>Fenlvfeidou No.2.(3)Intercropping could improve soil the physical&chemical properties. The forage could reduce soil p H.The soil organic matter(SOM)content of sweet clover and HM1 increased by 83.43% and86.26% respectively, and the 0-20 cm SOM was significant difference(p<0.05).Others could improve SOM(p>0.05).The nitrogen content of HM2,HM1,HM3 and HM4 was increased by96.54%,81.64% 67.18%,26.17%(p<0.05).Available phosphorus content of HM1,HM2,HM3, HM4 increased respectively were by 109.66%,93.42%,89.75%,42.31%.Available potassium content of HM1,HM2 increased by 5.93% and 3.79% respectively. To evaluate comprehensive,It was found HM1>HM2>HM3>HM4> sweet clover>Fenlvfeidou No.2>Henggu No.13.(4)The yield and quality of jujube were determined. The yield of jujube of HM1 and HM2were increased by 5.97% and 4.28% respectively. The content of total sugar and acid was 46.66ug·ml-1and 0.45% in jujube intercropping HM3,and was increased by 19.37% and 11% respectively. To evaluate comprehensive, improvement jujube taste was best in jujube intercropping HM3,followed by HM2>HM1>HM4.The net profit of HM1 and HM2 was increased by 5.98% and 4.28%respectively,followed by HM3> HM4>Fenlvfeidou No.2>sweet clover>Henggu No.13.To use gray incidence analysis, the HM1 was recommended in jujube intercropping forage.
