In view of the current situation of the single planting mode of forage crops and the serious lack of high-quality forage grasses in Inner Mongolia, the present study set up four intercropping modes using 5 forage grasses, which were oats, rape, vicia sativa, corn and Sudan grass as test materials.Field tests were carried out on the common oats//vicia sativa(AV),common rape//corn(BZ),and common rape//Sudan grass(BS).The relationship between intercropping pattern and mixed forage yield and quality, mixed forage roughage grading index and greenhouse gas emission was studied systematically. The main results showed that1.Among the four intercropping modes, the highest fresh grass yield of mixed forage was 60.55t·hm-2and 57.03t·hm-2,respectively,and the highest straw yield was feed rape/corn and feed rape//Sudan grass.Respectively 8.67t·hm-2and 8.56t·hm-2.2.The feed quality was significantly improved by vicia sativa and rape. The highest crude protein content was about 14.74%in the mixed feed of rape//vicia sativa. The highest crude fat content was 5.57%in the mixed feed of rape//vicia sativa. The acid detergent fiber content of feed rape//Sudan grass mixture was the highest about 42.00%,and the lowest was common oats//vetch mixture. The highest content of neutral detergent fiber was 60.67%,and the lowest was common oats//vetch mixed forage.3.The maximum GI(cattle)value was common in feed rape//vicia sativa(25.62MJ/d),and the minimum was common in feed rape//corn(9.72MJ/d).The maximum GI was found in feed rape//vicia sativa(3.71MJ/d),and the lowest WAS in feed rape//corn(1.10MJ/d).The maximum random feed intake of the large ruminants represented by dairy cows was feed rape//vicia sativa(14.42kg/d).The maximum random feed intake of small ruminants represented by sheep was feed rape//vicia sativa(1.63kg/d).4.Daily CO2emission fluxes measured by the four intercropping modes showed that the soil CO2emission fluxes of feed rape//vicia sativa were the lowest and significantly lower than those of the other three modes. The N2O emission of oats//vicia sativa was the lowest, which was lower than the other three modes. The effects of different intercropping patterns on soil warming potential were,in descending order, common oats//vetch(25807.05kg CO2-eq/hm2/year),feed rape//corn(16797.49kg CO2-eq/hm2/year).Feed rape//Sudan grass(15014.62kg CO2-eq/hm2/year)and feed rape//Common vetch(9859.88kg CO2-eq/hm2/year).The results showed that common sativa sativa was a better mode of soil greenhouse gas emission reduction.5.The comprehensive benefit comparison results of the four intercropping modes showed that the vicia sativa showed good performance in fresh grass yield, crude protein content, crude fat content, rougher feed grading index and global warming potential, which was the best among the four modes.
