As the growth of mature apple trees with high planting density,the ecological environment is closing,the ventilation and illumination conditions of the orchard are not good,thus the yield and quality of apple are affected.This model is not conducive to the development of apple industry.Thinning is an important means of changing this situation.In this paper,the tree structure parameters and fruit quality of thinning apple orchard were studied,and the yield and economic benefits of two patterns were investigated and analyzed,and the results were as follows:1.Compared with the contrast orchard,the tree parameters in the thinning apple orchards have changed: average crown diameter 5.98 m,22.04% higher than that of the control orchard.The crown width increases obviously and the coverage rate is significantly reduced,coverage rate of 98%,lower than that of the control orchard 37.57%.Thinning effectively increased the external light intensity;Improvement of ecological environment is more conducive to the growth of new shoots.The average growth of new shoots was 32.4cm,higher than that of the control orchard 52.83%;each branch quantity 667m~2 results into 46 thousand branches,25.80% lower than the control;Short branches accounted for 20.8%.Long branches accounted for 61.1%,branch group structure more reasonable.Inflorescence fruit,average leaf area,leaf thickness,leaf weight were higher than that of the control orchard.Leaf area index was 2.04,lower than that of the control.2.The quality of fruit in thinning orchards has increased: average fruit weight was 251 g,which was 43.45% higher than that of the control;fruit shape index was 0.87,the control orchard was 0.83;the average color area of 94.3%,witch was 9.65% higher than that of the control orchard;the average of hardness is 9.04kg/cm~2,witch was 2.49% higher than that of the control orchard;the soluble solids content is 14.52%,witch was 3.41% higher than that of the control orchard;the average acidity was 0.21%,witch was 5% higher than that of the control orchard.The comprehensive score of thinning orchard was 40.25,which was higher than that of the control orchard.The good fruit rate of thinning orchard is 90% and the control orchard is 85%.3.The economic benefit of thinning orchard is higher than that of the contrast orchard.To 667m~2 apple production units,the thinning orchard output is 1687.5kg,witch was 19.60% lower than the control orchard,but the thinning orchard total income was 10597.8 yuan,witch was 4.48% higher than that of the control;net income is 6293.8 yuan,witch was 20.80% higher than the control orchard.There are reasons that apple in the thinning orchard with high commodity rate,and the production cost is low,so the economic benefit is higher than that of the control orchard.
