Currently, we pay more and more attention to the benefit assessment of small valley management in the water loss and soil erosion area, throughout the domestic and international. This paper applies the theories and methods of the ecosystem economics to investigate the Zhuxihe watershed. On the basis of local information and practice, we set up a suit of indexes to evaluate valley management, this provides science theories for the further research. According to the AHP and EA, we confirm the index power, making use of the multilayer evaluation method, we carry on the management evaluation. The research is carried out in the serious erosion area, located in Changting county, Fujian Province. Different control measures are applied on the serious erosion area, including closing of hillsides, fruit (A) orchard planting(B), orchard rebuilding (D) and CK. This paper investigates the impact of different measures on soil quality, and probes into the relationship between different control measures and soil properties including physical, and chemical properties. The results shows that the control measures can significantly promote the soil chemical properties of soil organic matter, total N, available N, available P and so on. Ecology benefit has been greatly improved after these different control measures, especially the closing of hillsides measure, the effect of the control measures on ecology benefit appears in the sequence of A>B>OD>CK. For the soil indexes, the best effect is A measure, it's assessment count for 0.8220; the effect of the control measures appears in the sequence of A>D>C>B>CK; For the biosphere indexes, the sequence as follows: A>D>OB>CK; For the gas index, the sequence is D> C>A>B>CK.The assessment of comprehensive measures in Zhuxihe valley is 0.6645,the assessment of ecology effect, economy effect and society effect are 0.3228, 0.1536, 0.1881,which account for 48.58%, 23.1 1%, 28.31% according to the comprehensive management assessment, therefore ecology effect is the most important issue in the control measures. The comprehensive management assessment is 0.6645, about 3 times of the assessment ever before, so we can conclude that the comprehensive measures achieve great benefit. |
