Comparative Study On New Varieties Of Flue-cured Tobacco In Wenshan Tobacco Growing Area

In orderto to select fluecured tobacco varieties appropriate for planting in WenshanTobacco Area and to explore the corresponding cultivation and curing measures, The K326, Yunyan85 and Yunyan87 as control, the mail growth periods, botanic characteristics, agronomic characters, leaf curing qualitiesandeconomic characters of 8 varietiesYunyan97, Yunyan105, Yunyan108, KRK22, KRK23, KRK26, T29 and NC297 were studied in Wenshan Yunnan. The results showed that,1.The total performance of Yunyan97 and Yunyan108 were best. The growth potential and agronomic characters of Yunyan97 were amount to CK, its disease resistant were close to CK, its quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves was better than CK, its production value(2625.78 yuan/mu), average price(16.21 yuan/kg), class index(0.74), the production value index(119.2) and the proportion of superior leaves(53.7%) were all the highest, they were significantly higher than CK. The growth potential and agronomic characters of Yunyan108 were amount to CK, its disease resistant were better than CK, its quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves was close to CK, its production value(2258.66 yuan/mu), average price(15.57 yuan/kg), class index(0.73), the production value index(106.54) and the proportion of superior leaves(51%) were all amount CK. The content of mail chemical composition were suitable and harmonious. Therefore Yunyan97 and Yunyan108 should be extended plant in Wenshan.2.The total performance of NC297, KRK26 and Yunyan105 in some area were better. The growth potential and agronomic characters of NC297 were amount to CK, its disease resistant were better than CK, its quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves was amount to CK, its production value(2192.49 yuan/mu), average price(15.04 yuan/kg), class index(0.71), the production value index(103.4) and the proportion of superior leaves(46.18%) were all the highest. The growth potential and agronomic characters of KRK26 were better than CK, its disease Tesistant were poorer slightly than CK, its quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves was amount to CK, its production value(2347.12 yuan/mu), average price(14.75 yuan/kg), class index(0.69), the production value index(110.8) and the proportion of superior leaves (48.52%). The growth potential and agronomic characters of Yunyan105 were amount to CK, its disease resistant were close to CK, its quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves was close to CK, its production value(2354.11 yuan/mu), average price(14.92 yuan/kg), class index(0.70), the production value index(111.0) and the proportion of superior leaves(53.1%). They were close totally to CK. The content of mail chemical composition were suitable and harmonious.Therefore NC297, KRK26 and Yunyan105 should continue to demonstrate in Wenshan.3.The total performance of KRK23, KRK22 and T29 were poor, therefor KRK23, KRK22 and T29 should be sifted out in next demonstrate.
