Screening Of Adapted New Flue-cured Tobacco Cultivars(Lines) In Southern Area Of Anhui Province

Recently,the flue-cured tobacco cultivars which cultivated in southern area of Anhui province were shown weak resistance to the main local diseases and sensitive to high temperature and drought during the growth period of the leaf.In the study,the adapted cultivars were screened through year 2012 to 2014 for tobacco-planting area in Southern Anhui by consecutive years experiment and research.The main results are as follows:5 lines including Anyan No.1,Anyan No.2,FYV13,6504 and 6507 were screened out according to the results of main economic character,the sensory quality and the field's performance.The sensory evaluation from the technical center in China Tobacco Anhui Industrial Co.,Ltd showed that the middle tobacco leaf(C3F)of these five lines have valuably industrial application for their sweet coke aroma,evident feel of fragrance,delicate gas and small mixed gas.The results of production demonstration showed that the economic traits of two new cultivars(lines)Anyan No.2 and Anyan No.1 exceeded Yunyan 97.The output value per acre was slightly lower than that of K326.The scores of sensory quality for Anyan No.1were higher than that for K326.For Anyan No.2,the economic character and the wilt resistance were superior to Yunyan 97.And its sensory quality was equivalent to K326.For further valuation of Anyan No.2,its reponses to drought were analyzed.And the photosynthesis parameters,MDA content,Pro content and enzymes activities were determined.The results showed that the Pn,Cond and Tr were significantly decreased after drought treatment.The MDA content?Pro content?CAT activity,SOD activity and POD activity were significantly increased.In contrast to K326?yunyan97 and Zhongyan100,Anyan No.2 was shown better quanlity in response to drought stress.In conclusion,in combination with the three years test,Anyan No.2 and Anyan No.1are the suitable cultivars in southern area of Anhui province.Instead of Yunyan 97 and K326,Anyan No.2 would be the best suitable cultivar for its better performance during bacterial wilt and drought stresses.Anyan No.1 is suitable for planting in non-high incidence area of bacterial wilt.
