In this paper, we study the 28 years' planted and pure forest with density in 1725?4325 tree·hm-2, belonging to the medium mountain, inclined steep and shady slope. Pass the research of competition and structure factors on growth in individual tree scale and stand scales, we know the change rule about forest growth and competition with structure factors, thus in the process of forest management, how to influence the forest spatial structure by operating activities, and then influence the growth of the forest. The main results are as follows:(1) Individual tree growth index of planted pinus tabulaeformis in research area includes DBH, heigh, crown width, CR,volume and biomass, With the increase of Uniform angel index, Dominance and Hegyi competition index, every growth index present different change and they can be reflected by the three indicators, in multiple linear regression analysis, Dominance U has the closest relationship with the growth index.(2) Stand growth index of planted pinus tabulaeformis in research area includes DBH, heigh, crown width, CR, volume and stand volume, With the increase of density, skewness, kurtosis, Uniform angel index, Dominance and Hegyi competition index, every growth index present different change and they can be well reflected by density and Hegyi competition index, in multiple linear regression analysis, density has the closest relationship with the growth index.(3) Structural parameters of bivariate distribution are the joint form of Uniform angel index and Dominance, including 5*5=25 kinds of structure combination, this combination makes full use of the advantages of relative frequency in expressing structure of Uniform angel index and Dominance, and can be directly obtained theinformation of unitary distribution from the bivariate distribution.
