The low quality of natural secondary Korea pine forest in northeastern China cannot content the demand of multifunction of ecology, economy and society in the contemporary era, how to management those forest scientifically and sustainably has become a scientific problem to be solved. We studied the effect of4forest management regimes-Forest Management1(FM1):traditional forest management regime; Forest Management2(FM2): target tree forest management regime; Forest Management3(FM3):tree species adjusting forest management regimes; Forest Management4(FM4):no disturbance forest management regime-on the community characteristics (community structure, species diversity, trees competition and natural regeneration) of natural secondary Korea pine forest in northeastern China. Results showed that:(1) FM1’s stand density was the second large, its average DBH and tree height were both very significantly (P<0.01) lower than FM2’s and FM4’s, its basal area was23.32m2/hm2; the diameter class structure of trees exhibited inverse J-shape, the constructive species was Pinus koraiensis; species diversity of arbor layer was relatively high, while the species diversity of shrub layer and herb layer were relatively low; competition intensity between trees was stronger than FM2’s and FM4’s, natural regeneration located in a general level.(2) FM2’s stand density was the smallest, but its average DBH and tree height were both significantly (P<0.01) higher than the others’, its basal area was24.97m2/hm2; the tree number of different diameter class was close, the constructive species was Pinus koraiensis; species diversity of arbor layer and shrub layer were the lowest, richness of herb layer was the highest; competition intensity between trees was weaker than FM1’s and FM3’s, natural regeneration was the worst.(3) FM3’s stand density was the largest, its average DBH and tree height were both very significantly (P<0.01) lower than FM2’s and FM4’s, its basal area was26.56m2/hm2; the diameter class structure of trees exhibited inverse J-shape, the constructive species was Abies nephrolepis; species diversity of arbor layer was the highest, while of shrub layer and herb layer were relatively low; competition intensity between trees was strong, natural regeneration was the best.(4) FM4’s stand density was relatively low, its average DBH and tree height were both very significantly (P<0.01) higher than FMl’s and FM3’s, its basal area was23.09m2/hm2; the tree number of different diameter class was close, the constructive species was Pinus koraiensis; species diversity of arbor layer and herb layer were the located in general level, species diversity of shrub layer was the highest; competition intensity between trees was relatively weak, natural regeneration was general.
