Fragaria x ananassa Duch. is perennial herbaceous plants of Rosaceae Fragaria. The fruit bright color, nutrient-rich, deeply loved by the majority of consumers. But strawberry fruits with high water content and thin skin, not easy storage and transportation, which has restricted the development of the strawberry industry. In this experiment, by selecting the appropriate modified-chitosan blends and added feijoa Leaf extracts of strawberry coating treatment was measured during storage strawberry weight loss, decay index, respiration, soluble solids, anthocyanins, total phenols, changes in antioxidant activity, in order to explore the role of feijoa blades in strawberry preservation.To give a strawberry safe, inexpensive and simple way to provide preservation of a theoretical basis. The main experimental results are as follows:1. The 1.25% chitosan,1% chitosan+1.5% gelatin,1% chitosan+1% soluble starch,1% chitosan+0.5% soy protein isolate,2% chitosan+0.07% nano-SiO2 was filmed of strawberry, storage for 6 days at room temperature,by analyse strawberry weight loss and decay index selected the best blends is 1% chitosan+0.5% soy protein isolate.2. 1%,1.5%,2% feijoa blades extract was added in the coats, water and the base film material as control?measurement the decay index, weight loss rate, respiration, soluble solids, anthocyanin, total phenols, changes in antioxidant activity in storage process, obtaining a base film material added feijoa Leaf extract can significantly reduce the strawberries rot index.1.5% feijoa blade extract added in the coats of lowest decay index only 0.1328 after 6 days storage, just 1/3 of water treatment.The coats was added feijoa Leaf Extract, changes in anthocyanin content, respiration, change the color, total phenols, total antioxidant activity changes have a certain inhibitory effect of pre-stored strawberry, showing better preservation effect. But the latter effect was gradually weakened.3. The feijoa Leaf extract and CaCl2 were added to the base film blends, the differences compared its role in strawberry preservation. The results show feijoa Leaf extract composite coating is better than CaCl2 composite coating film in the initial of storage, CaCl2 have the long-lasting results. So get in the short-term storage in strawberries feijoa Leaf extract with chitosan coating better, has a certain actual application value.
