In this study,we collected 1022 blood samples from 4 varieties of sheep and goats,5 breeding scales and 3 age groups from 6 towns of Zaozhuang city to detect 15 blood physiological indicators in normal feeding conditions through automatic blood cell analyzer.Spss19.0 was used for variance analysis,multiple comparison and interaction and correlation analysis to analyse the difference of blood physiological indicators between different varieties,rearing scales and ages of the four breeds sheep.1.Comparative analysis of blood physiological indicators between different breeds of sheep and goats:there were extremely significant differences between WBC,LYMC,MID%,GRAN%,LYM,RBC,HGB,HCT,MCH,and MCHC in Zaozhuang goats,Boer goats,Qing shan goats,and Small Tail Han sheep(P<0.01).Besides,GRAN and RDW-SD showed significant differences between the four breeds of sheep(P<0.05).2.Comparative analysis of blood physiological indicators between different breeds of sheep and goats:RDW-SD and RDW-CV showed markedly significant differences between scales of ?15,16-30,31-60,61-100 and ?101(P<0.01).There were significant differences between LYM.C,GRAN%,GRAN,RBC,and HCT in the five rearing scales(P<0.05).3.Comparative analysis of the blood physiological indexes between different aged sheep and goats:there were no significant differences in the levels of WBC,LYMC,MID%,GRAN%,LYM,RBC,HGB,HCT,MCH,MCHC,GRAN,RDW-SD,RDW-CV,MID,and MCV between sheep of ? 12 months,12-24 months,and ?24 months(P>0.05).4.There is an interaction between varieties and breeding scales on blood physiological indexes.Varieties and breeding scales both have significant effects on GRAN%,RBC,HCT,RDW-SD and RDW-CV,Compared with farming scales,variety has a more significant influence on GRAN%,HCT and HGB,however,farming scales has a more significant influence on RDW-SD and RDW-CV.There is an interaction between varieties and ages.Varieties and ages both have significant effects on RBC and HCT,while variety has a more significant influence on on RBC and HCT.There is interaction between farming scales and ages,farming scales and ages both have significant effecst on RBC and HCT.Compared with ages,farming scales has a more significant influence on RBC and HCT.There are interactions between different varieties,breeding scale and ages.Variety,breeding scale and ages both have significant effects on GRAN%,LYM,RBC,HCT and HGB.Variety has the most significant effects on GRAN%,LYM,RBC,HCT and HGB,followed farming scales and ages.5.The correlation coefficient of Pearson of the pairwise comparison of physiological indexes showed that more than 80%of the indexes were significant.6.There is an interaction between different varieties,farming scales and the age group.The most significant effect on blood physiological index is variety,followed by farming scales and age group.In our study,healthy sheep and goats blood physiological indexs were measured under normal feeding conditions and we hope to provide a scientific basis for sheep breeding preventing and combating disease and the development of large-scale breeding in Zaozhuang.
