This experiment was conducted to study the mycotoxins contamination of poultry compound feed in southwest area of China in 2014. A total of 95 layers'compound feed and 100 meat-type poultry compound feed samples from different provinces (Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Guangxi, and Yunnan) of southwest were obtained to analyse the contents of aflatoxin B1(AFB1), zearalenone(ZON), deoxynivalenol(DON) and fumonisin (FB1+FB2) by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The results showed as follows:(1)The detection rates of AFB,(samples 95), DON(samples 95), ZON (samples 95)and FB(samples 21) in layer's feeds were:83.16%,93.68%,94.74% and 100%, respectively. The over-limit ratio of AFB1 and ZON were both 3.16%, while DON and FB was not observed to exceed the limits. The concentration of AFB1, DON, and ZON in layer's feed of different provinces were different (P<0.01), with the Chongqing had the highest content of AFB1 (10.9 ?g/kg), Sichuan had the highest content of DON(1.07 mg/kg), Guizhou had the highest concentration of ZON (0.2 mg/kg), respectively. The average levels of these four mycotoxin did't differ in different feed type (laying hens, pullets, and laying ducks). The average concentration of AFB1 of layer's feed were observed to be different in different production scale company, and the small-scale feed company (less than 50,000 t per year) had higher content of AFB1(6.36 ?g/kg). (2)The detection rates of AFB1(samples 100), DON(samples 100), ZON(samples 100) and FB(samples 19) in meat-type poultry feeds were:89%,96%,85% and 94.74%, respectively. The over-limit ratio of AFB1 and ZON was 18% and 5%, while DON and FB was not observed to exceed the limits. The concentration of AFB, (P<0.05), DON and ZON (P<0.01) in feed of different provinces were different, with the Chongqing had the highest content of AFB1 (11.76 ?g/kg), Sichuan had the highest content of DON (1.23 mg/kg), and Yunnan had the highest concentration of ZON (0.26 mg/kg). The highest level of AFB1 were found in duckling starter feed, followed by, broiler starter feed and broiler grower feed. The broiler starter feed had the highest content of DON (0.87 mg/kg) and FB (0.70 mk/kg).The average levels of these four mycotoxins did't differ in different feed type (broiler grower feed, broiler starter feed, and duckling starter feed). The small-scale feed company (between 20 000 t and 50 000 t per year) had higher content of AFB1, DON and ZON than the big-scale feed company (more than 100 000 t per year). In conlusion, in Southwest of China, the contamination level and the over-limit ratio of AFB1, DON, ZON and FB were relative low in layer's compound feed, but the detection of these four mycotoxins is prominent in different regions from different scale enterprises. The mycotoxin (AFB1, DON, ZON and FB) cotamination problem is common in sounthwest of China in meat-type compound feed, with the AFB1 has the highest over-limit ratio. The contents of these four mycotoxins detected in the meat-type poultry compound feed is influence by different location, feed types and scales of the feed mills.
