Development of agricultural mechanization and the continuous implementation of the national agricultural subsidy policy promotes the rapid development of the tractor industry, so that the industry competition is more intense. The continuous upgrading of tractor technology and the improvement of safety awareness of agricultural machinery operation promotes the implementation of the tractor industry related safety regulations. Because of the safety regulations for tractor industry, tractor should be equipped with safety frame or safety cab. The frame structure make sure the safety of workers in the cab and the injury possibility of the driver in the incidents is reduced to the lowest. The tractor cab should meet the safety protection performance based on this view, the combination of a tractor driving chamber strength test and finite element analysis is applied to the optimization design of tractor cab, the cab can effectively ensure the safety of the driver.In this paper, the CAD software UG is used to establish the solid model of the frame structure of the tractor cab. Based on the static test method and the acceptance condition of the tractor, the model is simple and effective. The ANSYS finite element analysis software is applied to simulate the back of the tractor cab static test, the back pressure, the side push, and the front pressure of the test process. By comparing with the results of physical test, the weak link and the optimization idea of the influence driving cab strength test were determined. The frame structure and process optimization of the cab can be carried out to save the raw material, reduce the production cost of the cab and protect the safety of the driver.The research results show that the finite element method and ANSYS software analysis provide a good theoretical basis and optimization ideas for the structural optimization of tractor cab. It provides a new method to study the strength of tractor cab, and is of practical significance to the quality control of the manufacturing process of the cab.
