An'hui Lu'an Region Azaleas Domesticated Research And Analysis

Nowadays, while people is improving their living standard, their spiritual civilization is developing as well. Based on this situation, landscape architecture is also developing in a high speed. However, amount of categories of existing plants which are used to green cities is not able to satisfy people's increasing requirement for their living standard day by day and at the same time, requirement of green area in cities is also increasing rapidly, which makes landscapes of four seasons become inexorable trend of development. For better satisfying people's requirement for living standard and making human in a harmony with both city and environment, it is necessary to do more research and practice on introduction and domestication of plants. Hence, it is urgent to promote research and work on introduction and breeding of premium garden plants. For enriching categories of rhododendron in Lu'an Anhui,general screening for introduction and evaluation have been made on categories of rhododendron,This thesis introduces definition, significance and purpose of plants' introduction and domestication firstly, and formulates it from theoretical research and factors which will affect plants' introduction and domestication. By comparing climatic factors of original area and introducing area, find differences between two areas objectively, record amount of rhododendron introduced and differences of growth of different kinds of rhododendron, and study cultivation degree of rhododendron introduced in Lu'an through canopy, plant high,amount of new growing branches, amount of buds, amount of flowers bloom and cold resistance.I also evaluate twenty-three categories of rhododendron which are cultured in Liuan synthetically by analytic hierarchy method. Screen the best suitable rhododendron for Liuan area according to evaluation results of seven choice indicators. Results of investigation and study demonstrate that"White Phoenix 4", "Shenghua 5", "Labor Medal", "-40", "Changle","Red Peach Blossom"and"Shengchu 2"have the highest point in the synthetical evaluation.Their blossom have bright color, large abundance, strong modelling feel and are suitable for introducing and culturing in large amount."Flamingo","Pink Peach"and"Tianzhang" get the lowest point, however this evaluation is limited because several categories flower season are very late and lacking the point of blossom. Through observing cold resistance,"Pink Bubble"and"Big Green Purple" have weak cold resistance and is not suitable to culture in thisarea.According to study of this thesis, theoretical basis for culturing area and application of landscape of rhododendron in Lu'an city is provided. And hope it can provide reference and theoretical basis for cultivation and breeding of other kinds of landscape plant in Lu'an city.
