GAP System Construction And Application On Flue-cured Tobacco Of Liupanshui

Flue-cured tobacco GAP refers to the production and management of high-quality tobacco, targets to optimize the origin, improving quality, outstanding features, be ecological and improving security. It requires that in the whole process of tobacco production management, should pay more attention to the harmonious development between the natural environment and the tobacco-growing areas, and apply reasonable production of technical measures and standard operating procedures, ensures the tobacco to high quality and more efficiency, and take care of the environment protection. By introducing and researching on technology of GAP management, based on the quality managing systems of tobacco producing and purchasing, and comprehensive standard systems of high quality tobacco, according to the focus of flue-cured tobacco GAP, and in combination with the practical situation of Liupanshui, proposed the basic content and requirements of GAP system, formulated regulations and practices and implemented in the demonstration area in accordance with the relevant system, then inspected evaluated and validated the results implementation and operation of inspection implementation. According to the validated results, improved the system, then built and promulgated the GAP System on Flue-cured Tobacco of Liupanshui, included managing systems, production standard technical systems, and the record file systems. We allied the GAP systems in the whole progress of flue-cured tobacco producing in 3 base units, about 4736 hectares. The results showed that the system can fully meet the needs of production management, was in line with the actual Liupanshui tobacco production. The average price of purchasing,the proportion of superior leaves, yield, output value and household income of the above 3 base units in 2013 were increased obviously than 2012.The appearance quality of tobacco leaf was stable, maturity, structure and identity were normal, the oil of lower leaves was better, the lust of middle and upper leaves were stronger, the chemical composition was coordinated. Several major heavy metal contents had been decreased, tobacco pesticide was better, overrun rates significantly was lower than last year. By the implementation of GAP system, the quality of tobacco was further improved, the efficiency of farmers’planting tobacco was further improved, the security of tobacco was further safeguarded, the environmental protecting capacity tobacco-growing areas was further enhanced, the ability of high quality tobacco supplying and market competitiveness was further improved.
