| Home care is one of the best ways to control and prevent chronic diseases.It requires people to understand their own health status in time through various home medical devices.The popularity of home medical devices in the market has become an inevitable trend.Currently,there are many manufacturers of home medical devices,but most of them produce devices and develop client systems according to their own specifications,devices from different manufacturers conforms to different specifications,resulting in that the client systems developed by the manufacturers can only interact with their own production,can not interact with devices that produced by other manufacturers,it hinders the popularization of home medical devices in the market.In order to unify the communication specifications between home medical devices and client systems,the Personal Health Device Working Group(PHD-WG)and the IEEE Standards Association(IEEE-SA)jointly developed the IEEE 11073 standard to address interoperability issues between home medical devices and client systems.This standard defines how the data interacts between the home medical device and the client system,benefiting both users and home medical device manufacturers.In order to better provide home care services for people,this paper designed a data acquisition and transmission system,the client of the system was developed based on the IEEE 11073 standard and implemented on the Android platform,user can use the client to interact with Continua-certified home medical devices,such as blood pressure meter and blood glucose meter.The client is divided into data interaction module and data management module.The data interaction module implements data acquisition and device control functions.Data acquisition: The device automatically sends the measured health data to the client.Device control: The client sends commands to control the device to perform related operations.The data interaction module is mainly composed of Bluetooth HDP Serivce,Interactive Components,and Interaction Service.Among them,the Bluetooth HDP Serivce establishes transport layer connection with device,and is responsible for receiving and sending data packets;the implementation of the Interactive Component is based on the IEEE 11073-20601 and the IEEE 11073-104 xx standards,and is responsible for the processing of the data packet;Interaction Service acts as a bridge,is responsible for the communication between the Bluetooth HDP Service,Interactive Component and UI application.The data management module implements the local storage,management,and synchronization of health data.After receiving the health data,the client first saves the health data to the local,and then can perform health rating and chart drawing on the health data.The client can also synchronize the health data to remote servers according to HL7 standards.Finally,the system was tested with Continua-certified home medical devices.The test results showed that the system can effectively interact with home medical devices based on the IEEE 11073 standard and have data management capabilities. |
