A Dispatching Command Management System For Metro

With the rapid development of the country’s economy and society,the expansion of the scale of urban development,the urban rail has become the first choice for the citizens’ daily travel because of its great transport capacity,high rate of punctuality,all-weather,safety and comfort,which has become the focus of public transport development in China’s large and middle cities.In normal circumstances,the train operation is automatically controlled by the signal system.By the ATS(Automatic Train Supervision)system,the train working diagram is automatically compiled,the train route is automatically realized according to the train diagram,the train interval is automatically adjusted,and the status of facilities and trains running on the line are monitored in real time.Under sudden change in the working circumstances of the equipment malfunctions or emergencies etc.,on the contrary,the dispatcher publishes dispatching command to relevant personnel to complete some actions or trains running,so as to achieve the goal of rapid restoring normal order and ensuring the safety of traffic.The dispatching command is instruction that the dispatcher publish to relevant personnel of train running,which need them cooperate with each other to accomplish certain actions.At present,the dispatching command is recorded on the dispatching command directory at first,then is published by dispatcher by a dispatching telephone.The working mode of the voice release and the paper base archive manage dispatching command,which is difficult to guarantee the timeliness of the dispatch command,the accuracy of the command content and the convenience of the query.In order to achieve rapid editing,accurate publishing,efficient query and more secure storage of the dispatched commands.Based on the "Beijing Metro Line 1 dispatch order management" project,a dispatching command management system for metro is designed and developed.The main contents of this paper include: at first,analyze the dispatching work,analyze the functional and nonfunctional requirements of publishing and managing dispatching commands.Secondly,the dispatch command system software is designed and developed based on the ATS network and hardware platform.The key technology of the system included: using the UDP(User Datagram Protocol)to realize the message transmission between the OCC(operation control center)and all stations,signal building,assignment workstation,all trains on the line;using the FTP(File Transfer Protocol)to transmit the system data files to realize the message synchronization function between the terminals;the system manage published commands according to the type of dispatch command,to realize the informatization management such as stored,querying,reports etc.;text or voice reminds users the status that the dispatch command received and manual signed.Finally,the system was tested by the test department of Casco Signal Co.,Ltd.The system passed the lab test of the company and the site test of the Beijing Metro Line 1.The results show that the dispatching command management system for metro meet the design requirements,accomplish the requirements of rapid and convenient publish commands and informatization management dispatching commands.The system is successfully applied to Beijing Metro Line 1.
