Research On The Features And Spatial Morphology Of The Traditional Vernacular Dwellings In Southeastern Shanxi Province

As one of the cradleland of Chinese civilization in history,southeastern Shanxi Province is located in Shanxi Province and has a profound historical,cultural,and artistic heritage,while traditional vernacular dwellings are the witness in this process of accumulation and the true reflection and portrayal of life and folk culture.It has high academic research valuation.This article selected traditional vernacular dwellings in the southeastern Shanxi Province as the main research object.Through collating and summarizing relevant dissertations and surveying on the ground,the article firstly analyzes the main natural environment and social environment that affect the formation of traditional vernacular dwellings,and then the overall architectural features of traditional vernacular dwellings are summarized from three aspects: architectural form,architectural technology and decorative art.Then,the spatial morphology of traditional vernacular dwellings in southeastern Shanxi Province are further studied and explored.Plane scale and vertical scale are specifically explained in two directions: single building and courtyard layout.Combined with the typical residential housing cases in southeastern Shanxi Province,the specific detailed studies and measurement mapping are classified.Based on this,an in-depth analysis of the features of traditional vernacular dwellings in southeastern Shanxi Province and the implications behind the connotation of space is described in terms of site selection,space organization,and architectural modeling.Finally,this article outlines the confusion and doubts faced by the traditional vernacular dwellings found in the survey during the protection process.Put forward protection principles and analyze some of the classic dwellings protection cases analysis to explore the future direction of traditional vernacular dwellings in the protection and development path.In the research process of traditional vernacular dwellings in southeastern Shanxi Province,this article mainly focuses on the study of its features and spatial morphology,based on the knowledge of architectural,supplemented by the knowledge of design science,history,sociology and ecology.The subject knowledge is intertwined and merged.At the same time,the research methodologies are also based on a combination of philological methodology,social anthropology methodology,etc.A comparatively thorough and comprehensive analysis and study of the architectural features and spatial morphology of traditional vernacular dwellings in southeastern Shanxi Province is carried out in multiple levels and perspectives.
