The stone residence is one of the most characteristic mountainous traditional residence,there are both rigorous traditional official residential buildings and vernacular dwellings which suit mountain’s measure to local conditions.In special geographical and historical condition,basing on the plain’s residencial form,the traditional stone residence established its architectural system,wether in the material’processing,method of construction and building concept,there are many charactertics.The second chapter primarily talk about when the traditional stone residence come out,this paper do not have a specific conclusion,but give a related speculation.And then sketching about the situation of the traditional stone residence’s distribution.At the same time,having a discus on the natural environment and social environment of traditional stone residence, and theirs influence about it. At the end of the second chapter,giving a good many introduction of the village of stone house’s site selection,space, stone residence’s style,shape,construction and so on.The third chapter’s major content is the construction technology of traditional Stone Houses in the east Ping Shun.It’s include the introduction of instruments and material related construction and the procession of building:preparation of build,setting up foundation,making wood structure,installing components,erecting walls,putting tiles on a roof,installing floor,and so on.The fourth chapter discuss about the cultural customs of tranditional stone residence’s construction.The fifth chapter introduce the construction technology of tranditional Stone Houses’preservation condition and the problem it is faceing.The sixth chapter put the construction technology of tranditional Stone Houses in the east Ping Shun as a Intangible cultural heritage to be protected,and put forward some corresponding protection strategy.This article anticipate using history research,objects investigation,craftsman dictation and more other means to deeply investigate the stone dwelling of east Ping Shun.Focusing on the research of site selection, space,courtyard,monomer of architecture, framework composition and the construction technology of traditional Stone Houses so on. Systematically and comprehensively,sorting out the cause of formation and the characteristics of tranditional local stone houses in the east PingShun county, recording and saving the construction related to the traditional residential building techniques.
