In recent years,with the improved requirement of the cons truction of urbanization in China,the land for construction has gradually been limited.Under this circumstance,some buildings have to select to be constructed on the land with inferior foundation.As a result,under the structural operational condition,the superstructure of the buildings may be damage,and even be destroyed since the uneven settlement of foundation.Thus,it is meaningful to research how to ensure the reliable operation of the buildings by using some special rectification and reinforcement techniques.Meanwhile,it is important to finish some field tests,the calculation of structural bearing capacity before the rectification and reinforcement,and finite element model analysis.In this study,a real rectification and reinforcement p roject on an office building in Wu Zhong city is considered as experimental research.The sloping reason of the fame structure is first investigated and analysed based on the structural original design data,the natural factors,the sloping monitoring data,the monitoring of the main structure,and field reconnaissance.Then,a finite element(FE)model is constructed based on the original design data of the building,and the structural uneven settlement of foundation is simulated by defining corresponding measured displacement loads on the supports of the structural FE model.Once the FE model is built,structural internal forces can be calculated by static analysis of the FE model.For the process of the field grouting reinforcement tests,a more suitable technique can be employed for the project by comparing two different sealing methods.Finally,in this study,the rectification and grouting reinforcement technique and is used for the office building based on the analysis results of FE model,the conditi on of the building and the field tests.In addition,considering the special characteristics of the project,a novel hybrid underpins system based on the steel pad and the limosis-steel frame.During the construction process,the structure is monitored all the time,and the construction strategy can be timely adjusted according to the field monitoring results of structural fractures and the value of jacking.After the project is finished,in the chapter 5,the structural anti-seismic performance evaluation assessment based on the reinforced FE model is conducted by using the static elastic-plastic analysis approach.From the assessment results,it can be concluded that the anti-seismic performance of the reinforced building is still reliable.In addition,the structural assessment results also meet the requirement of the corresponding codes.Based on the project result of the office building,it can be conclude that the reason analysis of structural sloping is one important step for foundation reinforcement.In addition,making some detailed,effective,and reliable operational plan according to the special engineering background is also significant.Therefore,based on the study of this paper,it can provide an important reference for the projects with a similar engineering background.
