Electric power is the basic industry of national economy development,diesel generator set as one of the commonly used power generation equipment has the advantages of high thermal efficiency,compact,quick start,small water consumption,simple operation,etc.Large-scale diesel generator installed in the main power building of large-scale diesel generator has the characteristics of large capacity and high heat dissipation.In order to meet the design environment requirements of the main power building,the ventilation of a main power building of large-scale diesel generator is researched in this paper,the temperature field and velocity field are simulated by Fluent of CFD software,the simulation results are analyzed,and the recommended ventilation scheme is proposed.It has reference value for the design of ventilation in the main power building of large-scale diesel generator.In this paper,the ventilation of a main power building for large-scale diesel generator is simulated by Fluent,when the original ventilation scheme of the main power building is adopted,the air temperature in most areas of the height area occupied by the diesel generator in the main power building of the diesel generator can be less than 40?,the generator can get better cooling,however,the ventilation effect in the area of the intake and exhaust side(leeward side)of diesel engine is poor,and the temperature of the intake and exhaust side(leeward side)of diesel engine is high.In this paper,the poor ventilation effect of the original ventilation scheme of the main power building for the large-scale diesel generator in the intake and exhaust side(leeward side)of diesel engine,the improved scheme of height optimization for the air outlet of one side air supply is proposed,and the simulation study is carried out by using CFD.It is concluded that the temperature of the height area occupied by the diesel generator and the ventilation effect of the intake and exhaust side of diesel engine are all related to the height from the bottom of the air outlet of one side air supply to the ground,and the ventilation effect is ideal when the bottom of the air supply outlet is 1.5m from the ground height(improvement scheme one).In view of the higher temperature of single side air supply in the intake and exhaust side(leeward side)of diesel engine,the optimization scheme of air supply on both sides of diesel engine is put forward,the final recommended ventilation scheme(improvement scheme four)is proposed,the recommended ventilation scheme can improve the ventilation effect of the intake and exhaust side of diesel engine and improve the ventilation efficiency.
