Analysis Of Motorcycle Helmet Use

Motorcycle accident severity is always serious,how to reduce the severity of the accident has been a topic of discussion.Relevant research shows that wearing motorcycle helmet can effectively protect head safety and reduce the severity of accident.Researches always been those helmet mechanics characteristics of motorcycle helmets,external analysis of the influence factors of people,etc.based on this,this paper study of helmet wearing behavior of driving personnel,based on the study of the characteristics of external influence,increase the study of people psychological thoughts,make the study more comprehensive and reasonable.In this paper,city Longchang was selected as the survey site,and the data were collected by observation and questionnaire.The data collected included the age vehicle type,road grade,weather and so on of observation,and other factors such as helmet weight and safety cognition status of the questionnaire.In this paper,describing the observation data from people-vehicleroad-environment,and then use the binary logistic model to study the factors influencing to the people.In the case of the data collected,the first test is to demonstrate the validity of the questionnaire,after the factors analysis,we use the Structural equation model to explore the effects of the factors.Finally,it is concluded that the driver’s age,the driver’s gender,the vehicle type,the road grade and the time are the factors that together affect the driver and the occupant wearing the helmet,while the age of the occupant have a separate influence on the the passenger.According to the questionnaire,the root cause of these effects are the Safety awareness of the driver and the occupants,the comfort of the helmet and the weather and the influence of the outside world.Finally,we take measures from the people-vehicle-roadenvironment and other side,so as to increase the initiative of wearing helmets and reduce the severity of accident.
