The inability of crew members to evaluate risks in work scenarios has been identified as the causes of many aviation accidents, and the risk perception of pilots is an important factor in determining flight safety. However, the undefined specific impact of the pilot's risk perception on its safety performance has seriously affected the improvement of the pilot's safety performance. Therefore, the relationship between pilot's risk perception and safety performance is systematically analyzed in order to provide theoretical guidance for flight safety management. On the basis of design ideas of risk perception measurement scales of previous research and systematic analysis of reckless incidents survey report derived from Aviation Safety Information System of Civil Aviation Administration of China(CAAC),pilot's risk perception questionnaire were designed, which includes 30 items and is suitable for Chinese conditions.Through exploratory factor analysis,4 dimensions were extracted,i.e.,risk perception of behavior, risk perception of self condition, risk perception of flight environment and risk perception of reckless incidents.Through the analysis of previous study of safety performance measurement dimensions and the survey of airlines,we chose incidence of key second level events and third events as pilot's safety performance measurement scale which were designed based on data of quick access recorder(QAR).Through the analysis of influential mechanism of risk perception on safety performance, hazardous attitudes were introduced as mediator and flying experience were introduced as moderator to construct the research hypothesis of the relationships between pilot's risk perception and safety performance. Finally,an empirical study on the research hypothesis were conducted through methods such as structural equation model, sobel test and multi-layer regression analysis. The results showed pilot's risk perception of behavior, risk perception of flight environment and risk perception of reckless incidents have significant positive effects on safety performance, and the effect pilot's risk perception of self conditions on safety performance is not significant.Hazardous attitudes had both significant positive and negative mediating effects between risk perception and safety performance of pilots.Flight experience significantly and positively moderated the relationships between risk perception and safety performance.
