In recent years,the air transport industry has entered a golden period of rapid development with the rapid economic development of China.At the same time,it is also facing a grim situation in which the airspace environment has become complex increasingly and airspace resources have become tense increasingly.In order to improve the airspace operating efficiency,it is crucial to partition the sectors properly.The simulation optimization research of the airspace sector partition is given based on the controller workload and simulation optimization ideas.Firstly,the basic theory of the sector partition problem is introduced,and the principle of simulation optimization is elaborated.The combination of the sector partition problem and the simulation optimization method is explored.Secondly,a controller workload evaluation model was constructed.Through analyzing the controller workload impact factors,the controller workload measure was determined.The controller workload and measure data were extracted by using radar simulator,and the controller workload evaluation model was established based on BP neural network.The model reliability is verified by analyzing the model accuracy.Thirdly,combining the sector partition constraints,the sector is constructed by using Voronoi diagram to divide airspace twice.The optimal combination of the sector units based on genetic algorithm and TAAM simulation modeling is proposed to balance the sectors workload,and the simulation optimization of sector planning is achieved.Finally,an example of Lanzhou approach sector planning is given,which indicates the effectiveness and reasonableness of the sector partition method.Different from previous studies which mainly establish airspace mathematical model,this TAAM simulation tools and simulation optimization concept are introduced into the research process.This method can reflect the airspace operational characteristics better and solve airspace sector partition problem effectively.
