Loess is widely distributed in Northwest China,and the structures that are based on the loess are varied.Due to the characteristics of collapsibility of and porosity of loess,as well as the natural environment of large wind sand,of strong light,of dry light,of dry rain and of violent tectonic activity in Northwest China,the structures that are based on the loess will bring serious damage to daily life of people and the soil site will be damaged in different degrees.The soil site will be damaged by different degrees.Lime is a reinforcement material that is widely used for reinforcing loess.SH is a new polymer reinforcement material that has been used in Northwest China in recent years.Both materials have good reinforcement effect on loess.Based on previous research results,this paper discusses the effect of different curing conditions on SH-lime-enhanced loess when different levels of SH and lime are used to reinforce loess,and the main conclusions were as follows:(1)Both curing agent SH and lime can improve the physical properties of loess such as water resistance,water holding capacity,air permeability and wave speed,and when the two curing agent are jointly reinforced,the improvement effect is significant.Four different conservation conditions such as indoor environment,outdoor environment,constant temperature and the dry-wet cycle condition have different effects on the physical properties of the loess reinforced with SH-lime,in which the physical properties of the sample under constant temperature curing conditions are better,the indoor curing conditions is the next,then the outdoor curing conditions and the dry-wet cycle condition are poor.(2)Both curing agent SH and lime can improve the mechanical properties of loess such as unconfined compressive strength,shear strength,and hardness.When the two are jointly reinforced,the mechanical properties are improved significantly;Four different conservation conditions such as indoor environment,outdoor environment,constant temperature and the dry-wet cycle condition have different effects on the mechanical properties of the loess reinforced with SH-lime,in which the mechanical properties of the sample under constant temperature curing conditions are better,the indoor curing conditions is the second,then the outdoor curing conditions and the dry-wet cycle condition are worse.(3)Comprehensive evaluation of the indicators,both SH and lime can improve the physical and mechanical properties of the sample.When the two are jointly reinforced,the properties are improved significantly.The sample which consists of 0.6% content of SH and the 20 percent of lime earth has better reinforcement effect,which can be used as a reference in the application of the project.The physical and mechanical properties of the sample under the constant temperature curing conditions is good,and the properties of sample under the dry-wet cycle condition is poor.Therefore,it is suggested that a more stable construction environment should be selected as far as possible to avoid large changes construction environment in the actual construction.
