With the improvement of the west-china development, capital construction Project in collapsible loess areas had been increased greatly in resent years. So it is very importance to research on the properties and the methods of subsoil treatment of collapsible loess, not only in theory, but also in project practice.Based upon this, researched on the lime-loess cushion and the lime-soil compaction pile, the two methods of subsoil treatment is the most widespread incollapsible loess areas, specially in Shanxi Guan Zhong and Shanbei and Yu Xi. In the first place, through the long lasting laboratory soil test, the strengh propetty of the lime-loess with different water content and line content varying with time was analyzed. The principal factors influencing the lime-loess strength and some laws were developed. The secondly, based upon the laboratory soil tests, definite the parameter of the Kondner model and the loess compaction model, using Fortran Power Station to compile the finite element programmed of axial symmetry. Through trial calculate with the different squeeze stress and different poisson ratio, got some laws of stress of soil surrounding pile and judged the result of compaction pile. The result of the calculation and analysis and valuable to designer and builder.
