In today’s era of material is extremely rich,full of beautiful things in eyes of products is enough to make a person dazzling,let alone to choose transfer from numerous modelling everyone can shine at the moment of form,it is,therefore,now the design to more pay attention to emotional factors.A have feelings of the product,not to please every customer,it only needs to be in front of the person it shows attractive side,it only natural presents itself is enough to attract the advantages of the category of people interested in it.It can not be so gorgeous colour,its function can not be so complete,even the price can be not so friendly,because it has its own expression meaning,has its own emotional expression,with its unique modelling form,only service niche groups,only to understand its people understand it,don’t please don’t flatter.This product is based on the perceptual engineering products discussed in our paper.It satisfies the emotional appeal of consumers and expresses the heart and emotion that designers put into it.Based on the vacuum cleaner as the research object,the modelling characteristic analysis was carried out on the vacuum cleaner,accurately grasp the development trend of vacuum cleaner model,its shape characteristics using morphological method to form element analysis,combining the theory of perceptual engineering on its modelling design discussed.Mainly use the perceptual engineering design of the vacuum cleaner has carried on the exploration and research,first of all,the basic situation of perceptual engineering and must understand and grasp the development trend of the vacuum cleaner,coupled with the perceptual technology research of this paper is divided into two main line process will unfold research and exploration.The extraction of the perceptual vocabulary of vacuum cleaners is a main line;For vacuum extraction for modelling design elements in the form of a main line,and then two lines through the establishment of the relationship between perceptual image perceptual technology,so as to get the design elements represented by the perceptual image,the resulting vacuum cleaner for modelling design corresponding related design elements of emotional expression,which is used for the creation of the vacuum cleaner modelling,the first to create cleaner modelling design estimate,and then use the modelling of new design sensibility engineering verification,validation results agree with the forecast result shows vacuum cleaner design elements and establish the relationship between perceptual image has certain reference significance;However,if the result ofverification is inconsistent with the prediction results,the relationship between the design elements and the emotional image is not obtained.The perceptual engineering theory in the product design process and product design later use process,cognitive style to users through the form of data table or curve,and then a quantitative analysis,get all sorts of emotional words corresponding design elements,will feel sexual vocabulary with the quantifiable forms of visual display,in this way on emotional need to guide the design of the consumers.The users according to their own use of users about the product of emotional experience as the starting point of the perceptual design,to a certain extent,meet the demand of the consumer psychology,also meet the users for the product emotional appeal.All these provide a new exploration perspective for new product design,and also open new research ideas,which can help the future design.
