In recent years,with the rapid development of social economy,the increase of traffic volume and axle load,the early damage of asphalt pavement is becoming more and more serious.Basalt fiber as a kind of inorganic fiber,has good reinforcement,crack resistance,toughness,adhesion,stability and adsorption,the basalt fiber asphalt concrete was prepared by basalt fiber asphalt concrete,so as to,it has an important action to reduce the rutting,Increase the crack resistance at low temperature and improve the water stability.It is a great significance to prolong the service life of asphalt pavement.This paper starts with the technical performance of basalt fiber,the properties of its physical properties,oil absorption,heat resistance,arthroscopic,and adsorption properties of asphalt are compared with other fibers used in common use,the applicability of basalt fiber in bituminous concrete is obtained.Then,the incorporation of basalt fiber asphalt concrete AC-13 and SBS modified asphalt concrete for further experimental studies,using the Marshall test to determine the optimal amount of fiber type AC-13 basalt fiber asphalt concrete is 0.5%(mass ratio),the optimal dosage of asphalt modified by SBS was 5%,the best amount of basalt fiber reinforced asphalt concrete in 0.3%,the best dosage of asphalt is 6%,and the rutting dynamic stability test to verify the rationality of optimum dosage of asphalt and fiber.Through the high temperature rut,low temperature bending failure and freeze-thaw splitting test,the influence of fiber on the performance of two kinds of asphalt concrete is compared and analyzed.It shows that the addition of fiber can obviously improve the high temperature stability,low temperature crack resistance and water stability of asphalt concrete.Finally,the construction technology and quality control parameters of basalt fiber reinforced asphalt concrete are put forward based on the experiment of Li Yang Road in Ningdong New District of Ningxia District,and the economy of basalt fiber asphalt concrete is analyzed.
