With the development of locomotive on speeding up and informationization,the stability of the train makes a giant influence on the crew's safety and a country's economic development.HXD2 electric locomotive is designed based on the joint development of PRIMABB43700 by CNR Datong electric locomotive Co.Ltd and Alston French Company.HXD2 locomotive takes advantage on constant power range,axis power,better adhesion,higher power factor,harmonic interference,lower cost of maintenance,and wide application.And the HXD2 locomotive has been the significant symbols the modernization products which embodies the advanced Chinese railway equipment core technology.As the core equipment of AC drive electric locomotive,the traction motor plays an important role in the normal safe operation of the locomotive,but some kinds of motor fault appears in the process of long time running and draw a direct threat to the safety of the locomotive and the crew's life,so it puts a very important practical significance to study the motor fault diagnosis technology.The YJ90 A traction motor of HXD2 locomotive is first analyzed in this paper,and motor stator fault,rotor fault and bearing fault are listed.Subsequently,the simulation of three types of motor fault are proceeded,and the traction motor stator system model equation is built and the dynamic changes of output parameters of the traction motor system are studied.Then the traction motor rotor is analyzed under the same condition,and the wavelet analysis method is put forward for the simulation of traction motor bearing fault.Through the simulation analysis of the three types of traction motors of electric locomotive,the understanding of the working state of traction motor and timely detection and removal of traction motor faults are achieved.Finally,two kinds of common electric locomotive traction motor bearing fault are given,and the maintenance advice of the HXD2 electric locomotive system main structure,the electric locomotive control unit,the main transformer,and the traction motor,are listed in detail.This paper uses MATLAB software to simulate the dynamic system of electric locomotive traction motor under the condition of different kinds of motor fault,the change corresponding to the output parameters of the dynamic systems is obtained for realizing the regular motor fault diagnosis and exclusion of electric locomotive.
