Study On The Design Of Aromatic Plants Garden In Hunan Province

With the development of social economy,the standard for ecosystem becomes much strict and people prefer to choose a place with characteristic,thematic and rich experienced scenery,no matter for urban green space or suburban vacation space.Aromatic plants garden which owns characteristic themes and promises rich user experience gains popularity among people.Based on the methods of landscape ecology,environmental psychology,plant community and garden aesthetics,this paper studies the design of Hunan aromatic plants,The results are as follows:1、By consulting the literature,collecting informations,This thesis summarizes 125 types of aromatic plants,Contrast several aspects of different aromatic plants about their different aroma parts,aroma season and ornamental characteristics.2 、 this paper analyzes existed problems of aromatic plants specialized gardens in Hunan,such as less aromatic plants species,illogical aroma allocation,single form and obscure theme of aroma of aromatic plants.oints out that main reasons lie in three aspects,inadequate application of aromatic plants species,insufficient comprehension of characteristics of aromatic plants and few quotable cases.3 、 This paper proposes four principles in designing aromatic plants in Hunan,principle of clear theme,principle of human-oriented,principle of adaptation to local conditions and principle of function first.4、This paper points out that functional sections of aromatic plants should be divided into aroma experience zone,science education zone,maintenance and fitness zone and sightseeing zone,and introduces methods of landscape formation and design.5、This thesis puts forward four main types of aromatic plants landscape,arbor,shrub,herbs and vines,and introduces several specific applications of theses types in gardens.6、This paper puts forward that plants design of aromatic plants garden could takes species selection,control of plants aroma,arrangement of color and texture and control of overall form into consideration.Besides,the control of plants aroma includes time control,concentration control and type control.Sense of smell is one of the most important senses apart from sight.Nowadays,with the increasing improvement of living condition,the demand for landscape sense grows increasingly.Aromatic plants garden can meet the diverse needs of people and create adiverse range of aromatic plants landscape.It will play an important role in promoting the need for physical and mental regeneration.
