Research On The Porotection And Renewal Of Hist Dist In Beijing Based On Urban Memory

In the large-scale transformation and the process of social development of the city,physical form and structure of Beijing historic district inherent has been greatly damaged.Since the beginning of 1900,Beijing gradually attach importance to the protection and development of historical blocks,but now the old city renewal is faced with more social pressure and economic pressure.Most of the improvement is not enough,the impression of many blocks is worn and messy.People's life style and living environment is forced to change,the collective memory of the old city is gradually weakened,the physical space is divorced from the continuity of the evolution to a certain extent,which is changing the the impression of the block.How to maintain the traditional culture of the block and inherit the collective identity of the community and the urban memory of the block,has become an important task in the sustainable development of the historical district.In this paper,the first chapter introduced the historical development in our country which is facing problems and challenges.Because of this theory of"synchronic and diachronic characteristics" and "the need of social development,the historical building blocks and spatial must change.In this paper,based on the theory of organic renewal,draw into the integration of collective memory and urban memory.The value of history and culture includes many aspects,but with the residents and the people most closely related is the "emotional value",the historic district residents as the subject of memory,the memory of their perception is the evaluation of the historic district the most direct and positive.This paper reviews the current research on conservation and renewal of historic districts in Beijing,and summarizes its development process.It also analyzes and evaluates the typical practice projects,and summarizes the achievements and shortcomings of the updated practice of Beijing historic district at this stage.According to the basic theory and research about the psychology of memory,analysis the composition and characteristics of the memory subject of the city,and discusse the selection criteria of memory,summarize the memory carrier elements,put forward the overall framework.Taking the historical block of Beijing as the main object of study,with the aim of protecting the urban memory,this paper explores the design method of the protection and renewal of the historic district.In the feature extraction part of the memory,analysis the characteristics of each memory carrier of urban memory.In the representation and reorganization of memory,explore aworkable design approach from the block space protection,including facade remodeling,intangible cultural elements and other aspects,to meet the needs of contemporary life under the condition of maintaining the common memory of the historic district residents with the collective identity,improve the cultural identification of blocks.
