Rail system is one of the important infrastructure in railway transportation.Rail is an important component of rail system.The rail directly contacts with the train wheels,supports the dynamic or static load which comes from the vehicle system,therefore the performance of the rail can directly affect the operation quality and safety of the train.Rail supports the dynamic action of the train continually,what is more,the factors such as natural condition and the quality of the rail itself,the rail will inevitably produce damage such as abrasion and crack in the process of the long-term use,these injuries may worsen the wheel/rail contact,increase the dynamic force of the wheel and rail,shorten the life of the rail,and even affect safety of railway transportation.In this thesis,a new type of rail grinding train is a kind of railway special vehicle which can eliminate the defects on the rail surface,as the rail grinding train is a new vehicle,in order to ensure the safety and stability of the rail grinding train when it running,it is necessary to simulate and research the dynamic performance of the vehicle.The dynamic model of the operated vehicle and the motor vehicle which are in the self-running condition and the operated vehicle which is in the grinding condition were established by using the SIMPACK software.The influence of each suspension parameter for the dynamic performance of the operated vehicle and the motor vehicle were researched respectively,the matching suspension parameters were determined,and its r unning stability,riding stability and safety were predicted in the self-running condition,the curve performance of the small grinding car were analyzed.The results show that the longitudinal stiffness and lateral stiffness of the primary suspension parameters for the bogie are more significant to the running stability and the safety of the curve performance for the operated vehicle and the motor vehicle;the vertical damping coefficient of the primary suspension parameters significantly affects the vertical stability of the vehicle;the lateral stiffness and the lateral damping coefficient of the second suspension parameters have a significant effect on the horizontal stability of the vehicle.The dynamic performance of the vehicle was predicted after determining the matching suspension parameters.The critical speed of the operated vehicle and the motor vehicle is 304km/h and 272km/h respectively,which meet the maximum operating speed of 120km/h.The stability indexes and safety indexes of the operated vehicle and the motor vehicle meet the limits value set in GB/T17426-1998 for each line and curve condition.By comparing test data and simulation data of the operated vehicle and the motor vehicle,the results show that: in the linear conditions,the simulation value of horizontal stability index is greater than the test values,and the simulation values of vertical stability index are similar to the test values,it indicates that the horizontal irregularity of the straight line must be superior to the Amer ican V spectrum,and the vertical irregularity must be similar to the American V spectrum;in the grinding condition,when the rail grinding train through the minimum working curve of R180 m,the safety indexes of the operated vehicle and the motor vehicle meet the requirements.However,the rate of wheel load reduction of the second wheelset and the third wheelset for the small grinding car exceed the first limit value,and the derailment coefficient is close to the second limit value.By adding rubber gasket between the Load-bearing saddle and the frame of the small grinding car,and then determined the vertical stiffness and horizontal stiffness of the rubber gasket,the curve performance of the small grinding car is improved significantly,and every safety index meets the limits value set in GB/T17426-1998.
