Research On The Landscape Design Method Of Community Parks For The Elderly

With the progress of the medical technology in science and technology today,the rapid development of urban economy and the continuous improvement of life expectancy per capita,every countries in the world today face a major problem:the aging of the population.China is the country with the most elderly population in the world,with the arrival of an aging society,it is bound to make different requirements on China's economy and society.Community park as an important place to meet the needs of the elderly leisure,recreational activities and exchanges,not only of great significance to the physical and mental health development of the elderly,but also of great social practical significance,to create a community park that focuses on the elderly,will help bring better spiritual enjoyment to the elderly,improve the quality of life for the elderly,enable them to establish the necessary links with the society and build a more harmonious society.In recent years,the number and scale of community parks in our cities have been greatly improved.However,from the perspective of the needs of the elderly population in landscape space,there are still many aspects that need to be improved,for example,lack of consideration of humanized design in activity space,limited number of venues,low utilization of space,poor quality of space environment,supporting facilities are not complete,the lack of practicality and other issues.This article takes community park landscape design as the research object,focus on the needs of the elderly for community park landscapes,systematic analysis of physiological characteristics,psychological characteristics and behavioral characteristics of the elderly population.By analyzing and summarizing the existing related research results,explored a set of systematic landscape design method system focusing on physical layer,scene layer and significance layer in the elderly community community park,it also explains the four landscape dimensions of environmental ecology,visual landscape,recreation activities and regional culture,to make a in-depth study of community park landscape design research,explore the community park landscape design methods for the elderly groups.In the study of the way through the field investigation of community park,realize the real needs of community groups for the elderly,summarizes the current community landscape design deficiencies and suggestions for improvement.Finally,the substantive methods of community park landscape design which focus on the elderly were verified by the actual case.Taking the landscape design of Huanghai Park in Laiyang City,Shandong Province as an example,combine design theory with design practice,in order to complement and demonstrate the community park landscape design theory for the elderly population.
