With the arrival of the new energy vehicles industrialization era,the application of new energy vehicles makes the transformation trend in the future.As the essential supporting infrastructure of EV cars,the EV chargers have great social and economic benefits.In the context of the times,the source of product innovation gradually change technology-driven into user-needs-driven.Today,the EV charger market in China is in the exploration stage.The user needs in product function and the function innovation are still relatively vague.Based on the Kano Model mining user needs in fuzzy front end of product development,this paper mines the potential needs from the analysis of user needs,reasonably and effectively converts the user needs to function requirements and makes the product function requirement hierarchy model.Integrated by Kano Model to analyze the user needs index for the quantitative research of the public EV chargers’ function requirements,the paper constructs the product functional tower reflecting user needs to provide references for the innovation development of EV charger functions and explore the product development trend.Otherwise,this paper makes the creative design for public EV charger based on the functional requirement model and takes the user test to verify the validity of the product function tower.
