Research On The Application Of BIM In The Decoration Process Of Construction Projects

The integration of construction informatization and industrialization will bring great change for construction industry,BIM technology,as a technical means of integrating construction informatization and industrialization,has already caused a revolution in construction industry.As far as civil engineering and installation engineering of public buildings are concerned,the BIM technology has formed a relatively mature application system,which has a good continuity in the design and construction process,and the achievements of BIM in design and construction processes can also be applied to the operation and maintenance process.But the decoration engineering of public building has particularity--the public building will undergo many renovations in its lifecycle,and the problem of materials,labours and time wasting are common in both the new project and the redecoration project.Therefore,it is very important to study the application of BIM technology in public building decoration engineering.This research mainly studied the application of BIM technology in public building decoration engineering,aiming at solving the waste problems in decoration engineering,and finally achieving the target of BIM application in the whole process of construction projects.The main contents of the research are as follows:(1)Analysed the potential of domestic public decoration market and the market impetus of BIM technology,and aiming at the waste problems in decoration engineering,proposed that BIM can be used to help solve such problems.Then the characteristics of BIM technology and the problems of traditional decoration engineering are analysed,and the application points and obstacles of BIM technology in decoration engineering are obtained;(2)Aiming at the application points and obstacles of BIM technology in decoration engineering,this paper studied the application of BIM technology in decoration engineering from the aspects of BIM application target,work flow,design of new project and renovation project,then put forward the design BIM implementation scheme;(3)Taking an office renovation project as the study object in studying BIM application in renovation of existing buildings,summarized the effective methods of existing building data using and BIM application;(4)The integration of BIM and lean construction was presented in the study of BIM application in construction process,then designed and developed the construction management platform based on Revit software,and the effectiveness of the construction BIM implementation plan was verified with a case study.It is concluded that BIM technology can be applied to decoration engineering,whether for new decoration projects or redecoration projects,it can effectively help to reduce wastes and increase the overall benefits of the projects.
