On November 20,2017,the National Development and Reform Commission issued the “ Thirteenth Five-year Plan for Railway Development ” notice.By 2020,the high-speed rail network will cover more than 80% of major cities.The plan mentions the advancement of intercity and municipal(suburban)railways in an orderly manner.Unlike bridges in the traditional sense,the bridges of intercity railways are mostly located in areas between cities.The areas that pass along the road are mostly urban suburbs,urban-rural junctions,and county roads.It not only has the connectivity function of a transportation hub,but also is part of the urban and county road landscape.At present,in the modeling landscape of intercity railway bridges,there is a single bridge structure,lack of innovation in decorative beautification coating,protection facilities do not achieve the unity of the use of functions and beautification functions,the lack of bridge landscape lighting and other issues.This article explores the elements,principles,and methods of bridge design for intercity railroads through the reading of a large number of documents and the collation of concepts.Taking the Wuxian Line in Hubei Province as the research object,Wuchang Railway Station Wuchang Railway Station – Miaoshan Road Section,Zhifang East Road Section,Shanpo East Road Section,Hesheng Bridge Road Section,and Xianning South Road Section were selected as inspection sites,focusing on Wuxian Line The three important nodes between Wuchang Railway Station and Miaoshan Station are the intersection of the Wuxian Line and the Tourihe River,the section of the Miaoshan overpass,and the parallel section between the Wuxian Line and the Thomson Lake Bridge.The structural characteristics of these bridges are analyzed.,Combining the relevant results of the questionnaire,proposed a design plan.
