With the progress of society and the development of science,cars have become more and more popular in every family.As a result,the demand for cars is increasing.Painting process is one of the most important process in the automobile manufacturing process.After painting,it will form a paint film attached on the body.The quality of the film and the beauty of the body color are the first impressions to the consumers.It directly determines whether a car brand has enough competitiveness in the market.During the automobile painting process,the quality control of paint and the quality of paint film after spraying is very important.The original paintshop of an automobile factory has been put into product for more than ten years,the environment of the paintshop is bad,and the equipment is backward.The original painting technology mainly uses manual spraying,and most of the paint contains harmful substances to the human body.The spraying effect is also very unstable;the paint film after spraying needs to be artificially detected on the surface defect of the paint film.This process adopt by visual method.This method not only has high defect missing rate,but also easily interfered by many external factors.This paper is based on the cooperation between a automobile company and a famous German painting equipment supplier.In this paper,an automatic integrated painting system is built on the basis of the planning of the paintshop,the production program and other factors.According to the robot’s type,vehicle surface shape,spray gun parameters and many other factors,the robot’s profiling program is corrected,which improves the spraying effect.In addition to the detection of the surface defects of the film,this paper puts forward a scheme to classify and identify the defects by computer vision technology,which provides a theoretical support for automatic recognition and marking of defects,greatly reducing the missing rate of the surface defects on the film,and improving the painting quality.
