At present,LNG vessel and LNG road tankers are primary LNG transport modes in China.Both transport modes have disadvantages of low economic benefits,complicated transport process and many potential transport safety risks.LNG tank container transport is the transport mode of "door-to-door" to achieve "one ladle to the end".With advantages of less investment,good maneuverability,high loading and discharging efficiency,this transport mode can overcome disadvantages of above two transport modes.Meanwhile it improves economic efficiency and transport safety performance.In addition,although the LNG tank container is designed and manufactured as means of transport,it also functions as the storage tool,the sales tool and the like.Therefore,under certain conditions or transport modes,LNG tank containers have a strong development prospect.Scientific stowage and segregation,tank pressure changes and tank strength of LNG tank container are important technical issues to ensure the shipping safety.This paper classifies different filling conditions of LNG tank containers and analyzes the following three factors.LNG belongs to the flammable and explosive gas in the IMDG Code,and can be discharged into environment due to the high pressure in the tank,so there exists some potential dangers.Based on the nature and harmfulness of LNG and steam,this paper proposes the basic principles and methods of stowage and segregation of LNG tank containers on the deck of a vessel.In terms of the problem of rising pressure in LNG tank container,this paper introduces the thermal equilibrium model into the analysis of the thermal insulation performance of LNG tank container,and analyzes the factors affecting the evaporation rate and holding time of LNG tank container.On the above basis,a calculation method using Russian correction model is summarized to calculate the LNG tank container holding time under different filling rates and different external environments,which compensates for the limitations of manufacturers who only provides a single reference curve.In terms of the impact problem of the liquid sloshing in the tank on vessel,by using the Ansys Fluent fluid analysis software,this paper simulates the resonance phenomenon of liquid and tank at different filling rates with the help of Multi-phase model to comprehend liquid distribution and tank pressure distribution through the sloshing process,which provides a theoretical basis for the multi-purpose development of LNG tank containers. |
