| As a high-end society private owned social platform and leisure choice,large luxury yacht requires individual living leisure functions and a high comfort level which come first.High standards of comfort have higher requirements on the performance of the hull and ship type.This paper studies the catamaran yacht comfort level thoroughly and analyses integrated design based on the comfort requirements.Comfort of luxury yacht depends on the comprehensive effects of many factors.First of all,this paper divides comfort level in detail,establishes a complete set of comfort index system,and estimates comfort indexes synthetically by utilizing the analytic hierarchy process(ahp),then determines that the focus is oscillation comfort.This paper builds the catamaran yacht motion equation and the human body vibration model,applies the BS 6841-1987 standard which published by British Standard Organization as an evaluation method on yacht sway comfort,calculates the motion response of yacht model in regular wave by numerical method,and uses ITTC spectrum analytic method to obtain the motion response in irregular wave,gets the comfort level of people under different postures according to the formula of comfort evaluation.The optimized ship type with SSB is proposed based on the evaluating results.Through repeating the evaluation processes and comparing calculation results of two types respectively,the reliability of the optimized hull is validated.Contrasting model test with numerical calculation of two types,the accuracy and feasibility of the numerical calculation are validated.Based on the comfort index,the luxury catamaran is overall designed.Firstly,according to specification requirements,this paper designs the hull lines of SSB bulb slender catamaran based on Tribon M3 lines and surface module;then conducts structure design,weight and gravity calculations,hydrostatic and stability calculations,effective horsepower,power system configuration and layout design,etc.Among them,the structure calculation is on the basis of ’Italian yacht specification’,the hull structures and the sizes of components are determined;the hydrostatic and stability calculations are computed by the napa software;the calculation of effective horsepower is based on resistance experiment data of ship model,the effective horsepower curve of real ship is obtained using the two dimensional method,and the choice of the main engine and the propulsion system is on the basis of comfort requirements for noise and vibration;full considerations to high-end customer demand and private yacht comfort requirements are proposed in layout design that based on the catamaran yacht comfort index system. |
