Public transport priority is an important strategy to alleviate the problems of traffic congestion, traffic energy consumption and emissions in large and medium cities in China.Beijing,Shanghai,Nanjing and other cities have been actively carrying out the planning and construction of the bus lane to ensure the bus "road right priority ",but the effect of bus priority signal control is poor, which makes intersection become critical bottleneck in the operation of the bus,so it is urgent to study the bus priority signal control method which is suitable for the specific situation of urban traffic in China.Firstly, through the bus GPS data processing steps of screening, map matching, and projector calibration in sequence, this paper analyzes the bus operating characteristics of the travel time, the station dwell time, the intersection delay and the driving speed Secondly,a bus travel time method is established based on the ARIMA model.Furthermore, with the average passenger delay as the optimization index, the signal-planning method of multi-phase intersection is established, which takes into account the traffic demand of pedestrian crossing and social vehicle. Finally, according to sequence of bus signal priority requests of the next signal cycle obtained by the above-mentioned prediction method, this paper proposes a multiple bus priority requests decision making method based on dynamic programming model, and realizes the real-time priority signal control of the intersection by adjusting the green time of the phases.Last but not least, the effectiveness of the prediction method and the signal-planning method are separately verified by sample application, both can improve the efficiency of intersection signal control.
