With the continuous and stable development of the national economy,the number and scale of national key construction projects is growing.Extra large industrial equipment such as motor rotor,transformer and reactor has been transported increasingly frequently.Bulky cargo with high price whose transportation technology is very complex requests rather highly for the transportation safety.How to deliver such cargos in a safe way with reasonable cost is an important subject faced by carriers.Usually,a single mode of transportation can only meet the transportation needs of short distance for the bulky cargo.When the distance is long,multimodal transport is the indispensable mode for transportation.The basic characteristic of the bulky cargo is high-value,high-risk and one-time.Road conditions,terrain conditions and mechanical equipment will affect the transportation of bulky cargo in long-distance transportation process.Any errors could cause immeasurable loss.So transportation safety risk is a key factor to consider for bulky cargo transportation.Considering the high transport expense of bulky cargo,how to choose a reasonable route to reduce the transportation cost is the problem carriers should pay close attention.In the actual transport process,low risk and low cost are often conflicting.Therefore,there is a certain practical significance for the bulky cargo route optimization problem on transportation risk and transportation cost.This article first gets research situation of bulky cargo transportation through a summary of abundant internal and external documents and then puts forward the research emphasis aiming at the defects.The minimal objective function of bulky cargo route selection and optimization research under the way of multimodal transport which included risk and cost was established.This paper establishes the multi-objective optimization model which fully considers the transportation and transfer cost,transportation and transfer risk,transportation and transfer time.To get the optimal Pareto solution set,this article designs the NSGA-Ⅱ algorithm.Finally,get a set of feasible solution set by using MATLAB to optimize the case of bulky cargo multimodal transportation.Decision-makers can choose the corresponding transportation scheme according to different requirements and the rationality of the model and algorithm is verified.
