Abstract/Summary:
With the advent of experience economy,people’s consumption concept change from single physical needs to the pursuit of spirit level.This kind of new value integrates into commerce,profoundly changing the connotation,space and marketing of commercial pattern,which speeds up its transformation to diversification,leisure and entertainment.However,under the premise of maintaining and reserving the original city texture and construction style of Suzhou ancient city,the commercial building design can’t copy the business model of western developed country,mostly staying at the commercial space form under the traditional consumption model giving priority to purposive consumption.It causes the situation of Suzhou ancient city commerce developing slow and being surpassed by Suzhou new city zone commerce.Therefore,we need to explore how to design commercial pedestrian street in Suzhou ancient city by experience consumption background.This research starts from the analyzing of experience consumption mentality and behavior,according to planning opinion on reserving Suzhou ancient city construction style,this paper will summarize the appropriate design countermeasures,considering the merit and demerit of Suzhou ancient city existing commercial pedestrian street space experience.This article wishes to benefit the commercial space design in Suzhou ancient city as well as other cities in regions south of Yangtze River.The first chapter is an introduction,to study the introduction and technical background to determine routes.The second chapter is a review of relevant literature and theoretical study concluded,from the theoretical research on experience consumption,commercial pedestrian street and other relevant conception.The third chapter analyzes the experience consumption mentality and behavior,summed up the new requires of commercial space from experience consumption mentality and behavior.The forth chapter researches and analyzes the experience of Suzhou ancient city commercial pedestrian street,summed up the merit and demerit of Suzhou ancient city existing commercial pedestrian street space experience.The fifth chapter summarizes design strategies of Suzhou ancient city commercial pedestrian street,including general orientation,theme orientation,space organization,space construction,assistant element and experience design of shop interior space.The sixth chapter is design practice of Suzhou ancient city experiential commercial pedestrian street,including basement analysis,concept generating,space planninggenerating,pedestrian space design,node space design and experience design of shop interior space.
