Historical and cultural blocks as the important carrier of the urban context,is the precious wealth of a city,with the rapid development of economy in our country,the urban appearance alter from day to day,historical and cultural blocks in old cities is often difficult with the time synchronization and no longer meet the needs of urban functions,presents the decline tendency,even become broken waste places in a city.So the massive historical block transformation and development activity continuously rise,also from the beginning only focus on regeneration practice block material environment transformation gradually turned to the coordinated development of environment,economy and society.By means of the the regeneration of the function of blocks and the improvement of the quality of blocks environment to vigorously promote the revival of the historical and cultural blocks,is the historical and cultural blocks's inevitable choice of connotative and high-quality transformation.Ming and qing dynasties ancient city of Yiyang as the city historical block,its old city landscape features and style retain the history feature of the Ming and qing dynasties,and Ming and qing dynasties buildings of a certain scale,it used to be a commercial port of Zi river basin,and also a microcosm of Zi river basin commercial port wharf culture of the Ming and qing dynasties,after five hundred years of vicissitudes of life years growing prosperity,it is the historical testimony of Yiyang to the heyday,both culturally and economically,it has a pivotal position in history.However,with the modernization of the city in recent years,due to the lack of government protection consciousness and the weakness of overall public protection consciousness,block pattern and the overall style have done much damage,most of the blocks of traditional architecture has been prolonged neglect caused by natural and artificial damage.The serious lag of infrastructure has also led to a sharp decline in population,block serious aging population structure,the street life and place disappearing and a series of other problems.As an old city memory of the people of Yiyang,the ancient city now faces a lot of quandary,and it is urgent to protect the block and have a regenerative design.This paper according to the investigation and research to the ancient city of Ming and qing dynasty history and neighborhood characteristics,analyzing the construction characteristics and the status quo of the blocks,find the blocks are faced with the problem at present,for the protection and regeneration of the ancient city of Ming and qing dynasties to find a feasible way,by planning block and the method of repair of buildings on the endangered traditional blocks for protective design,for the injection of fresh blood to make it meet the requirement of the city development.This paper aims to provide a feasible solution and value guidance for the regeneration of the ancient city through scientific research and analysis.
